Prior to founding Tech Wire, Paul worked for three years as the news assistant at The New York Times bureau in Mexico City, and wrote for the Economist Intelligence Unit, Latin Finance and Time magazine for two years. Paul received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School in 1999 and a B.A. from Brown University in 1992.
Ray Bolger is the editor and publisher of Smart Energy Group and the Clean Energy and Smart Grid Technology Business Directory. He is a business journalist who has focused for two decades on new technology companies and the investors who back them, and currently serves as editor of New England Tech Wire. Prior to joining Tech Wire publications in 2000, Ray was a staff reporter and assistant managing editor for LocalBusiness.com, a national network of daily, online technology business news feeds. He has served as a writer and editor for various regional and national business publications. As a copy writer, Ray has written special sections in Forbes magazine on regional economic development.
Parul Nath is the director of market research for Smart Energy Group. She also serves
as director of business development for the Tech Wire publications. Parul handles meeting
and event planning and customer service for marketing and advertising related matters. Prior
to joining Potomac Tech Wire, she worked with various publishing organizations in their marketing
departments. She graduated from the George Washington University with a Bachelors in Business Administration
in 2001 with a focus on Marketing and Information Systems.
Rich Scherr serves as a researcher with Smart Energy Group. He is a seasoned technology and financial
journalist who serves as editor of both Potomac Tech Wire and Bay Area Tech Wire. Rich previously
spent nearly four years covering the Baltimore and Washington technology scene for LocalBusiness.com
and served a stint editing morning news feeds for America Online and has provided frequent contributions
to the Associated Press.
Cecille Chen is the founder of C2 Media Labs and technical director of Smart Energy Group’s Database CD. She brings a decade of experience in developing customized, user-friendly database solutions. Cecille studied multimedia development at the Corcoran College of Art & Design, received a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2009, and a B.S. from Georgetown University in 1999.
